Bhalil, the city of Although caves
Bhalil village is not on the main road of any popular tourist route in Morocco and can easily go unnoticed, visit is a great opportunity to appreciate some of the best preserved houses of the Moroccan unique style and a whole system of caves that served as home for many families.
The village is surrounded by bridges that were built to navigate the river that bisects the city neighborhoods. The first thing that catches the attention of Bhalil is the relaxed pace, but steady, with which people develop their daily chores. Artisans
weaving, merchants promote their shops and traditional food odors permeate the air as we ascend the hills to the top, crowned by a green valley and small hills.
The other surprise that we find in Bhalil are cave houses. Located, the few that remain, along with normal design houses, the caves are ideal for keeping warm temperatures, defending the cold of winter and the scorching sun of summer.
